By car, Hoppers Crossing is about 7 minutes away, Point Cook about 10, Werribee about 11 and the Melbourne CBD about 26, without traffic. The Federation Trail also gives a car-free route to Hoppers Crossing.

Toddlers, with seven playgrounds across the suburb. Families on bikes, because the Federation Trail passes right through. Quick trips into the city by train. On a rainy day, head to Hoppers Crossing or Point Cook, which have the cinema and a library.
